The new GTC Titan Street Performer exhaust system for the R35 GT-R is expertly designed and tuned to provide a sound track to not only match but exceed the looks and performance of Nissan’s new Supercar.

GTC newly developed titanium exhaust system for the GT-R is designed to be amazingly lightweight and give the best sound and performance possible. Here at GTC towers we were so unimpressed with the stock oem exhaust with its 88db, sound is such an important part of driving a sports car and the special internal design of the titanium flows the exhaust gases to give a crisper exhaust note while still remaining not too loud.

The weight saved by fitting the GTC Titan is phenomenal. The original system weighing in at 17.45kg and the GTC Titan weighing 6.6 kg this is a saving of over 10 kg. GTC Titan is less than half the weight of the standard exhaust. This is a remarkable weight saving. Importantly the weight removed from the very rear of the car has a profound benefit to the balance and all aspects of performance. Features a 90 mm centre pipe which splits into x2 60 mm piping.

The GTC team engineered the Titan system’s internal design to allow the volume and flow to increase in proportion with rpm. This provides the engine with a deeper tone at low engine speeds rising to a F1 scream at higher rpm. This allows for an acceptable yet sporty sound while driving at lower speeds i.e. built up areas or constant engine speeds i.e. long motorway journeysAttention to detail has always been a hallmark of GTC products and this is no exception. This system is made from high grade Titanium. Much more efficient internal gas flow provides a noticeable improvement in throttle response for even more exuberant acceleration. The welding techniques employed on this system are exceptionally precise. The bracket configuration also adds stability and strength to the systems design which will minimise vibration for long term durability.

The design is the most beautiful and functional exhaust for the GT-R. The absolutely flawless titanium graduation treatments and every weld is polished to a perfect finish, can easily rival the likes of Amuse, Akrapovic, ARC etc.. Considered the best in the world. We know this as we have seen and fitted many examples on the GT-R.
